Our
Mission
Develop technologies
that effectively give online publishers an additional and
alternative channel for advertisers to meet consumers.
Publisher's Problem
Publishers have seen the glass ceilings of their online ad revenue
due to the saturation of existing ad space utilization and the
lack of new advertising opportunities.
1. Poor ad space utilization -- You cannot charge higher per-unit
ad price due to the lack of control over ad effectiveness.
2. Scarce advertising space: Traditional ad positions such as
banner placements are already taken.
Competing Solutions
1. Pop-up and multimedia ads are too intrusive and not
consumer-friendly.
2. Keyword oriented performance based advertising is only
available to search engines, not to online content publishers.
3. Contextual advertising improves ad relevancy but does not
generate additional ad opportunities.
Senopy Solution
Senopy's patent pending Contextual Binding
technology allows online publishers to select ads contextually
relevant to local editorial content and to bind those ads to
information carrying content keywords. Senopy recommends
highlighting such keywords to trigger readers' interests in
relevant offerings, while Senopy also suggests suppressing actual
ads until readers take the initiative to elicit them.
Senopy's solution improves ad space utilization through contextual
advertising at the local context level (sentences and paragraphs
rather than whole web page) that noticeably improves ad relevancy.
Senopy's solution creates new advertising opportunities through
the placing ads behind content and/or binding them to information
carrying content keywords, a practice that allows placing on
average one ad for every 20 content words with almost no annoyance
and intrusion to readers. Unlike with other forms of advertising,
if Senopy guidelines are followed, readers get full control over
whether ads are displayed.
Furthermore, Senopy's solution supports exactly the same
integration process as traditional ad placement and hence gives
publishers a new revenue source with no extra burden.
